Idea

Together with Foundation America for Bulgaria SIFF (Sofia Independent Film Festival) presents a new, different and fresh festival, the festival of American independent cinema.

The idea for the 2011 campaign is based on the notion that independent movies have a deeper perspective on the narrative compared to the mass Hollywood productions.

Application

We developed the creative strategy, the brand materials and all digital activities.

To emphasize that independent movies depict stories close to the viewer we created the application Your Independent Story. The application worked on a microsite part of the official So Independent website. The goal was to create the script for your own independent movie. You simply had to connect via Facebook and choose one of three scripts based on movies from So Independent. Using the information from your profile such as friends and likes the application created the synopsis and the poster for your independent debut.
